The Task:
For this task, I wanted to challenge myself to create a poster for a fictional gallery. One that based it’s showcase in sci-fi artwork from the 70’s.
Challenges:
Since this gallery was fictitious, the main problem I ran into with this project was having no references. I knew what elements I wanted featured, but I was still very unsure of what layout I wanted to follow.
Outcome:
The result is a poster with a grainy vintage, sci-fi feel. Very much influenced by films like 2001: A Space Odyssey or Stalker.
