The Task:
This was another fun task that I wanted to challenge myself with. I’ve always been a huge film fan, and I wanted to pay tribute to the world of Latin American Cinema.
Challenges:
My biggest obstacle was figuring out just how to pay homage to Latin American films. I didn’t want to make a fan-art poster of an already existing film, so I then came up with the idea of creating a fictitious film festival.
Outcome:
The result is a poster whose focus is more on font, typography, and film texture. Often in Latin American cinema, you can feel the sweltering heat of the location, and I wanted my design to have that same feel.
